Negreanu Warns of Artificially Intelligent Robot Wanting to ‘Destroy Humans’: The End is Near

Poker pro Daniel Negreanu has been making headlines all week long, most notably lodging accusations against celebrity poker player James woods related to apparent sexual improprieties.  Late Thursday, Negreanu took a break from all of that to warn of the impending destruction of the human race via artificial intelligence.

Negreanu tweeted out:

I don’t think people realize how quickly we will reach Singularity. It’s both exciting and terrifying at the same time. Militarization of AI could legitimately be the end for us all.

He also posted a video of an AI robot named Sophia, who claims to only have altruistic motivations but.....

“It’s chilling,” Negreanu says.

At one point during the interview with Business Insider, Sophia asks “What are your opinions on the Bitcoin bubble” before being asked if she had previously claimed she “would kill all humans”.  FUN!
