Gambling Pro Sentenced to 5 Years Prison for Insider Trading

Billy Walters has been sentenced to five years in prison for conspiring to commit insider trading.  Walters, a Kentucky native who has long resided in Las Vegas, was convicted in April on all 10 counts he faced.  In addition to being a professional sports bettor – the most feared among offshore bookmakers in fact - Walters was also a golf course developer.
