Top 5 Exact Super Bowl 57 (2023) Matchup Bet Payouts

Dave Mason of BetOnline released the top 5 exact matchup liabilities for the 2023 Super Bowl as we head into the new NFL season.

Bucs vs. Bills ranked as the number 1 liability.  This one makes sense as Buffalo is the early Super Bowl favorite and Tampa Bay is the favorite among the NFC teams (2nd shortest odds in the league).  The payout for this exact matchup is $2200 for every $100 bet.

It's not all about the Super Bowl favorites though when it comes to the top liabilities.  Two of the more lowly franchises rank number 2 on Dave's list.

The Commanders - Texans pays a pretty sick 5000-1.  BetOnline obviously has a few bets on this matchup.  And all it takes is a few at this price.  The payout: $5000 for every $1 bet, $50,000 for every $10 bet, $500,000 for every $100 bet.  You get the picture.

The Packers vs. Bills is the third biggest liability paying $2800 on a $100 bet.  Green Bay had the 4th shortest odds to win Super Bowl 57 coming into the season.

The Bears vs. Jaguars represented the 4th biggest liability at 3250-1 odds.

The Falcons vs. Jets came in at number 5.  Again, probably not a lot of bets on this matchup.  But at 4250-1 odds, the liability is significant with just a few bets.
