Poker pro Dan Shak has won the PartyPoker Premier League VI Final.
Among those making the PartyPoker Premier League VI Final Table in addition to Shak were Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Tilly, Dan Cates, Jonathan Duhamel, Tobia Reinkemeier (who led with chips coming into Saturday night’s final), Talal Shakerchi and Sam Trickett.
PokerStars Purchase of Atlantic Club Casino Delayed
The world’s largest real money online poker room, PokerStars, planned acquisition of Atlantic City’s Atlantic Club Casino is on hold for the moment.
The Interim Casino Authorization petition has not yet been filed with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, according to a report in NorthJersey.com.
Patrik Antonius Poker Profile: Wins $1.1 Mil This Week, Up $15 Mil
CardPlayer.com is reporting that Finnish poker pro Patrik Antonius managed an impressive $1.1 million run on Full Tilt Poker this past week.
Not just that: Antonius is up around $15 million lifetime on the FTP site.

888, Treasure Island Receive Nevada Online Gambling License
LONDON (Reuters) - 888 could launch an online gaming offering in Nevada, home to gambling center Las Vegas, as soon as May, a source said after the group won the first ever U.S. license to be awarded to an internet betting firm.
The license to operate in Nevada granted to London-listed 888 Holdings Plc is the first time an internet gambling company has been licensed in the United States, which banned online gambling in 2006.

Tapie heads up the International Stadiums Poker Tour and the purpose of the raid was to determine if Lagarde acted illegally when approving a €285 Million arbitration payout to Tapie.

Illinois Internet Gambling Bill ‘Bad Actor’ Clause Softened
Illinois in its quest to legalize Internet gambling has soften its “bad actor” clause that would have prevented companies that have accepted wagers in the US over the past six years from obtaining a license in the state.
Previous wording for Senate Bill 1739 contained the following wording:
“No Internet gaming license shall be granted to any applicant who has accepted wagers via the Internet in contravention of this Section or United States law in the 10 years preceding the application date.”
