Unless you happen to be in Las Vegas, which most of us are not, the best odds on Oscar de la Hoya as he takes on Manny Pacquiao were found at Diamond Sports International, an offshoot of the very well established BetCRIS group. They had Oscar de la Hoya at -175 odds.
Some Vegas books were reporting odds on de la Hoya as low as -155.
Gambling911.com endorsed online bookmakers were offering odds on de la Hoya between the -175 and -180 number.

We could see the line fall somewhat on de la Hoya just prior to the bout since Pacquiao action is huge in his native Philippines. Because Diamond Sports International is a subsidiary of BetCRIS.com, a book that caters heavily to the "wise guy" and "professional" sports betting market, the line here may fluctuate substantially.
"That remains to be seen," says O'Brien. "But there is always a strong chance that an Asian betting syndicate could place large sums of money on Pacquiao that will drive the line down faster at Diamond than any other book. This will result in Oscar de la Hoya's odds getting slashed as well."
Boxing pundits believe that the bigger Dela Hoya is favored to win over Pacquiao when the two will slug it out this Sunday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bout billed as the "Dream Match" will be a 12-round, non-title fight contested at the 147-pound welterweight limit.
"The skill that goes into fighting is one thing," said O'Brien. "The art of where to find the best odds on a particular fight is yet another since not all odds are created equally."
