The odds to win the Speed Skating - Women's 500m in the 2026 Winter Olympics have Femke Kok (NED) as a massive -800 favorite.
The Dutch speed skater specializing in sprint distances, known for her early international success and role as a leading next-generation talent. She is a 2026 Winter Olympian, having secured a silver medal in the 1000m and holding the 500m world record as of November 2025.
“I’m very motivated for the 500m now,” said the 25-year-old ahead of Sunday's competition.
“That was one of my best 1000s, so it gives me a lot of confidence for the 500m. It gives me a lot energy.
“I’m going to go and train really good and try to focus more on my speeds.”
