A lingering hand injury has forced Vitor Belfort (17-8) out of Affliction's Oct. 11 "Day of Reckoning" event and out of his scheduled bout with Matt Lindland (21-5) according to the folks at MMAJunkie.com.

Affliction hasn't yet named a replacement for the fight, which is scheduled to appear on the night's pay-per-view main card.

"Affliction: Day of Reckoning" takes place at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The event -- the second one for the rookie Affliction Entertainment promotion -- features a headline match of Andrei Arlovski vs. Josh Barnett.

Very few if any of the online gambling companies were yet to post betting odds on Affliction "Day of Reckoning" even though the majority already had odds on the UFC 89 event to be held in the United Kingdom a week after Affliction's October 11 card.

Odds on the upcoming UFC events were available at Diamond Sports International, which was currently offering a 20 percent sign up bonus. Hasta 20% adicional por registarse
