New Cup favorites the Golden Knights celebrate

The Colorado Avalanche have been the Stanley Cup favorites for nearly 95% of the season.

Edmonton opened as the initial favorite, but after Colorado’s ridiculous start the Avalanche have been favorites for all but a few days.

Carolina briefly became the favorites after its eight-game winning streak, but as soon as Colorado dispatched Minnesota the Avs once again became favorites.

Until last night. Vegas won both games in Colorado rather handily against a Cale Makar-less Avs and are now the new Stanley Cup favorites at BetOnline.ag.
