Manny Malhotra
  • Manny Malhotra comes in as the pretty solid favorite to become next head coach at 1/3 odds to be named the Vancouver Cunucks next head coach after the team fired Adam Foote Tuesday night

  • Additionally, the oddsmakers re-opened the Maple Leafs and Oilers head coaching odds

After having the worst record in the NHL (by 14 points), the Vancouver Canucks fired Adam Foote Tuesday night and are now looking for a new head coach.

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened odds on who will step into Foote’s feet (I’m so corny, sorry).

Manny Malhotra comes in as the pretty solid favorite to become next head coach at 1/3 odds.

Malhotra is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He is the head coach of the Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League, and was previously an assistant coach in the National Hockey League with the Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Additionally, the oddsmakers re-opened the Maple Leafs and Oilers head coaching odds.
