The Utah NHL team will play under its state name next season following the franchise's relocation from Arizona.
For the 2025-26 season, the mascot is still to be determined.

Smith Entertainment Group -- which owns the still-to-be-coined team -- announced Thursday the six potential nicknames Utah will take on before its inaugural season begins in 2024-25: Utah Blizzard, Utah Hockey Club (Utah HC), Utah Mammoth, Utah Outlaws, Utah Venom and Utah Yeti.
The Utah Yeti is the odds-on favorite, and that seems like a pretty easy pick in our opinion. You can find the odds below.
