Jordan Spieth 2-1 Odds to Win US Masters Final Round, Jason Day 4-1

(Gambling911.com Sports Wire) – Jordan Spieth was still a 2-1 odds favorite, tied with Dustin Johnson, to win the 2015 US Open Sunday.  Spieth was tied atop the leaderboard with three others: Johnson, Jason Day (4-1) and Branden Grace (7-1).  There was some question as to whether Day would even be able to play in Saturday’s round after being diagnosed with Vertigo on Friday and passing out at the final hole.

"I didn't feel that great coming out early and then felt like -- I felt pretty groggy on the front nine just from the drugs that I had in my system then kind of flushed that out on the back nine," said Day, who birdied three of his last four holes. "But then it kind of came back. The vertigo came back a little bit on the 13th tee box, and then felt nauseous all day. I started shaking on 16 tee box and then just tried to get it in, really. Just wanted to get it in." - Carrie Stroup, Gambling911.com Senior Reporter

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
