Woods Bridgestone Invitational performance over the weekend hasn’t exactly helped his cause.

Paul Daugherty of Cincinnati.com:

On Saturday, he didn’t hit a fairway with a tee ball until the 11th hole. He went 13 holes on Sunday without locating one. And yet, Woods decided he was “absolutely encouraged," with his 1-over 281, 18 shots behind Scott. “I mean, this is my first tournament since, what, April? So it's been awhile."

The old Woods would have said something about wanting to win every time he played. The older Woods is just glad he’s out of the tabloids and walking cleanly
