Webb Simpson (20/1): Simpson has flown under the radar in 2013, but he has gone top-20 in four of his six stroke-play starts and made the final eight at the Accenture Match Play Championship. He has two top-10 finishes at Copperhead, going T10 last year and finishing runner-up in 2011, as well as a T13 in 2010.

John Senden (40/1): The Aussie has played some of his best golf at Copperhead, where he’s been runner-up twice (2007 and 2008). He’s off to a relatively slow start in 2013, but last week at the Cadillac Championship, Senden broke 70 on Thursday and Friday before sliding to a T20 finish.

Luke Donald (15/1): The defending champ at Copperhead (last year it was the Transitions Championship), Donald is easing his way into the 2013 season. He finished T16 at the Northern Trust Open a month ago and went 1-1 at the Accenture Match Play Championship before a T43 at last week’s Cadillac. But he wasn’t exactly lighting the world on fire when he came to Palm Harbor last year, going T56, T33 and T6 in his previous three starts, and his track record on this course is strong. Along with last year’s win, Donald finished T6 in his previous start at Copperhead (in 2010).

Michael Thompson (40/1): The surprise winner at the Honda Classic two weeks ago, Thompson was in the hunt again at last week’s Cadillac Championship. He broke 70 in each of the first three rounds before sliding back to a T8 finish. He’s red-hot, and should once again offer great value among the longshots.
