Betting the Pittsburgh Steelers to win the 2009 Super Bowl?  Don't bet them at -7 when you can get the Steelers still at -6 ½.  Since Tuesday, the number of online sportsbooks offering the Steelers Super Bowl line of -6 ½ has gone from just 10 percent to around 40 percent.

"We can't stress enough the importance of this," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  "A touch down win by Pittsburgh means a win for gamblers who have the line at -6 ½.  Anyone who has the Steelers at -7 will lose out since that is considered a ‘push'.  No win, no loss."

The oldest established online sportsbook, which has been taking bets from North American gamblers since 1985, Bookmaker.com, has had the line at Steelers -6 ½ throughout the week.

"There are no guarantees that line will stay there especially if heavy money starts pouring in on Pittsburgh over the weekend," Shapiro points out.  "The oddsmakers will move the line based on amount of action."

And that action will be heaviest come Saturday and especially throughout Sunday.

Shapiro advises to lock the -6 ½ line in now for a variety of reasons.

"Not only do you want to ensure you can get that number, opening an online betting account will take some time this weekend due to the huge demand."

Think Christmas shopping at the mall the day before Christmas and you get the point.  Super Bowl is the crème de crème of online sports betting in the North American market.

Bookmaker.com is adding 20 percent cash on top of all first deposits.  For example:  open with $500, receive a FREE $100 on top of that amount.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
