South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt

Another big Week Two College Football team pick among sports bettors is South Carolina at -10. This team was the second most bet on team after the New York Giants heading into Thursday with a line that has moved up from -9 at Bookmaker.com

Unlike Texas Tech, which was the most bet on College Football team of the Saturday slate coming into Thursday, South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt College Football betting odds have not been entirely lopsided. Only around 70 percent of the action was on SC.

Vanderbilt stunned the University of South Carolina last year.

From USAToday.com

The first game of 2008 that counts in the Southeastern Conference standings features the newly ranked Gamecocks, fresh off an impressive defensive performance, trying to avenge last year's loss to Vandy. The Commodores know they must protect their home turf if they hope to end a 26-year bowl drought. Vanderbilt QB Chris Nickson flashed mobility last week at Miami (Ohio). Gamecocks LB Jasper Brinkley and S Emanuel Cook are better equipped to chase him down, so he might have to get rid of the ball more quickly this time. WR Sean Walker is his best breakaway threat. The South Carolina offense remains a work in progress, with QB Chris Smelley now getting a turn to start. His top playmakers will be WR Kenny McKinley, who probably will draw attention from Vandy CB D.J. Moore, and TB Mike Davis, who must occupy Commodores LB Chris Marve.

The OVER 41 on this came had over 85 percent of the betting action.

South Carolina was a +20000 long shot to win the 2009 BCS Championship.

Betting chances come in the SEC where South Carolina is listed with still impressive +3000 odds for the chance to win $3000 for every $100 bet.
