Sergio Garcia's odds to win the 2009 US Masters Golf Tournament ranged from +1800 to +3300.  The best odds Gambling911.com could find, +3300, could pay out $3300 for every $100 bet and were available at Sportingbet.com to those residing outside the United States.  US customers could take advantage of +3000 odds at BetUS.com

The Spanish golfer has spent much of his career in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings (over 250 weeks between 2000 and 2008.  He reached a career high ranking of two after winning the HSBC Champions tournament in November 2008.

Garcia has the distinction of never having won a major championship, though he's finished 2nd on more than one occasion.  His highest placement in a US Open was 3nd in 2005.

Could this be Garcia's year?  Many observers are saying "Yes".

"I've just done better in the other three than I've done at Augusta," Garcia said. "I don't know, I just haven't done well there. I've had a couple of good finishes. But consistency-wise, I've done better in the other ones. I don't know; I guess it's just one of those things.

"I do like the place," he said of Augusta National. "It's a really tough course, and it's gotten really, really difficult throughout the years. Unfortunately, I haven't performed the way I would like at the Masters, but hopefully, I'll be able to change that."
