Serena Williams was listed as the favorite to win Wimbledon 2011, though she does share the spot with Maria Sharapova.

Shattered glass caused injured tendons in her feet while life threatening blood clots reached her lungs.

It would be awesome and amazing (to win), but that’s not my thought process,” Williams said Sunday. “My thought process is just to play the best I can and to be positive. You know, I’m happy to have been here.

“Six or seven weeks of just trying to get myself together isn’t a tremendous amount of time, but the fact that I can even compete and be in a position I wasn’t sure I’d have a chance to be at again is more than enough.”

Williams was listed with 5/1 odds to win the 2011 Wimbledon tennis match at some bookmakers.  William Hill listed her at 3/1

Roger Federer, we should not, was the favorite to win the Men's outright.
