WHEN: Saturday, October 25 at 3:30 p.m. ET

WHERE: Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX

KEY STATS: Texas has won 11 of its last 12 against Oklahoma State

PICK: Texas

The Big 12 is rivaling the SEC for the toughest conference in college football; it currently lays claim to four teams in the Top 10. There's another huge game this week, when top-ranked Texas (7-0) hosts No.6 Oklahoma State (7-0). NCAA lines give the edge to the Longhorns, who are armed with homefield advantage and arguably the nation's best offense.

The Oklahoma State passing duo of Zac Robinson and Dez Bryant will impact the Oklahoma State vs Texas line. They tore Baylor apart in a 34-6 romp at home at last week, as Robinson went 13-of-20 for 238 yards and two touchdowns tosses to Bryant, who racked up 212 yards on 11 receptions.

Robinson also added 57 yards on the ground for an attack that gained 219 rushing yards. The Cowboys held the ball for over 36 minutes, systematically wearing down the Baylor defense. This kept the Oklahoma State defense fresh and, after Baylor opened the scoring, the Cowboys shut down a talented Baylor offense.

However, college football odds, as well as past history against Texas, say the Cowboys will have their hands full in Austin this weekend.

The Longhorns jumped all over Missouri early in their 56-31 victory at home, scoring the first 35 points of the game. Colt McCoy has to be considered the Heisman favorite after another dominating performance, going 29-of-32 for 337 yards and two touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground for the Longhorns. Oklahoma State vs Texas betting will get a lot of action because of McCoy.

The Texas offense was frighteningly effective, notching 591 yards in over 36 minutes of possession, and it was an outstanding 10-of-12 on third down. With an offense like this, it's easy to see why sportsbook odds favor the Longhorns.

BLAKE'S PICK: NCAA football odds have given the Longhorns the nod in this contest, and Texas has won 11 of its last 12 meetings with Oklahoma State. Last year's 38-35 loss may be the most bitter for the Cowboys, who were outscored 24-0 in the fourth quarter.

This surely will have a psychological effect on the Cowboys, though it's a massive chance for Oklahoma State to prove it's a different team. With the power of these two offenses, bettors should pick the OVER in this one, as both teams rank in the top-five in points scored.

However, McCoy is on a roll, and the Longhorns have won 16 of their last 20 at home. Bet on the Texas Longhorns to remain No. 1 in the rankings with a win this week.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
