Adriano de Souza Leading the Rankings

So far this season after three events it is Brazilian Adriano de Souza leading the World Surf League Championship rankings. He is in his 10th season on tour and has been impressing judges this year. He has surged into the lead ahead of Mick Fanning and Filipe Toledo. So far this season, de Souza had a semifinal berth on the Gold Coast, a second place finish at Bells Beach and he took first place in the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro. And it is not like Adriano de Souza had an easy path to winning the title at Margaret River as he defeated Taj Burrow, Kelly Slater and John John Florence.
