NFL football betting is in full swing with some great games lined up for this weekend.  Among them:  The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Baltimore Ravens.

Playing on Halloween in 2004, Philadelphia's Terrell Owens led all receivers with eight receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 15-10 home win over the Ravens.

There really aren't a whole lot of historical stats for this series to warrant betting on this game.

Before the 2004 meeting, the Ravens and Eagles had squared off just one other time -- a 10-10 tie in 1997.

Nearly everywhere, this game had the Baltimore Ravens as a -1 favorite.  You can check out our online sportsbook page for all your NFL football betting needs and to see what betting companies are offering in terms of signup promotions.

The Eagles managed to involve themselves in the first tie in six years last week, unfortunately it was with the lowly Cincinnati Bengals and Donovan McNabb had no idea there was such as thing as a tie in the NFL.

Shayne Graham's 47-yard FG sailed wide right with 7 seconds remaining in overtime, securing the first tie in the NFL since Week 10 (Nov. 10) of the 2002 season, when the Steelers and Falcons tied 34-34.

The Eagles have still never won at Cincinnati and are now 0-3-1 all-time. It is the Eagles' first tie since 1997 (which also came on Nov. 16) and the Bengals first tie since 1969.

The Ravens, meanwhile, got squashed by the New York Giants last weekend.

If you like trends as we do here at Gambling911.com, the Eagles are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games played during Week 12. The Ravens are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games following a S.U. loss.
