The Colorado State vs. Fresno State New Mexico Bowl game goes off at 2:30 pm EST Saturday.

SBG Global Opening Line: Fresno State -  3 ,  Total  60.5

For the first time in its three year history, the New Mexico Bowl will not have the New Mexico Lobos in it.  Colorado State and Fresno State will matchup on Saturday and it is unlikely University Stadium will be filled.  Fans from both schools will make the trip but it is the locals that drive the New Mexico Bowl and CSU and Fresno State are not big draws in Albuquerque. "I hope the people of Albuquerque come out and show their support," Colorado State athletics director Paul Kowalczyk said. SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Fresno State on the Road.

Colorado State comes into the game at 6-6 but they are really focusing on this game as one they want to win, not just show up in.  They were blown out in the 2005 Poinsettia Bowl by Navy and they don't want a repeat on Saturday against Fresno State. "I think we had a little too much fun going into it," senior nose tackle Matt Rupp said. "We were working hard, but guys were enjoying themselves a little bit too much. I don't think it's going to be very much like that this time around. In fact, I can practically guarantee it."  Colorado State has not finished with a winning record since 2003 and the players and the coaches want to change that.  The Rams have not won a bowl game since 2001. "This is huge for this senior class, this football team," head coach Steve Fairchild said, "To have a seven-win season around here hasn't been done lately. This is big for us."

Fresno State is playing in the postseason for the ninth time in the last ten years. They have won five of their last six bowl games overall. Here are the College Football Bowl Game Betting stats for Saturday's game. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Bowl games. The Bulldogs are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 non-conference games.
