Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football betting odds for the Browns vs. Bills showdown had Buffalo open at -5 ½.  This line has only moved down to -5 since and BetUS.com still had Cleveland at +5 ½ for anyone looking to bet on the Browns.

The lack of past history makes it difficult for Gambling911.com to provide an accurate pick on this game.  The home team has won both games by more than the current spread played in both 2004 and 2007, respectively.

The Browns are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 vs. the AFC.  Buffalo is 39-19-3 ATS against a team with a losing record and 12-5 ATS at home.

"We have to get our swagger back," running back Fred Jackson said. "Going into these last couple of weeks, we haven't had that normal swagger that we usually have. ... That's something we want to address, because we know we're better than we're playing."

Quarterback Trent Edwards was limited to 13 of 23 passing for 120 yards, tossing one touchdown but getting picked off twice in the loss. Running back Marshawn Lynch was held to just 46 yards on 14 carries.

"I think it's just the same old thing, little mistakes here or there that kill a drive ... it's tough to move the ball and consistently perform well when you continue to shoot yourself in the foot," Edwards told the Bills' official Web site. "That's what's been happening lately and we need to do a good job of fixing that pretty soon."

While Gambling911.com doesn't have a pick on this game, Eric Williams, analyst for BetUS.com does:

"I've got a strange feeling the Browns may actually cover the spread in this game, but I'm going to go against my better judgment and hope it doesn't end up coming back to bite me in the rear end.

"Take the absolutely desperate Buffalo Bills to bring their collective ‘A' game and beat the Browns by the touchdown they need to cover the spread here at home.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
