Mayweather-McGregor Fight Likely August 26: Latest Odds

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has suggested he will fight Conor McGregor on August 26.

Those looking to back Mayweather won’t have much to celebrate on the betting front as he’s listed at 1/10 odds (or -1000) at many books.  Gamblers can still take action on round betting and method of victory.

Mayweather Promotions plans to request the date from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the much-anticipated boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor, ESPN sources revealed late Monday.

"There are negotiations ongoing, but none of us wants to turn this into the circus that the Mayweather-[Manny] Pacquiao negotiations were, so I think it's best if we keep all the business discussions private until the deal is done," Showtime Sports executive vice president and general manager Stephen Espinoza told ESPN on Monday night.
