Jordan Spieth odds to win the Masters 2016 were coming in at 6-1 coming into the Tournament.  Spieth was a three-way favorite to win along with Rory McIlroy and the current World Number One Jason Day.  Heading into Friday, sitting atop the leaderboard, Spieth was priced at +180 with the potential to pay out $180 for every $100 bet.

Spieth said he was pumped coming into this week's Masters.

“I’m extremely excited,” Jordan Spieth said to media this week about the Masters. “Just saying that (the Masters) makes you just want to go out and do push ups or something, just like it makes you really, really excited.”

Following Thursday's play, Spieth said, “It was really the par-threes and the flat lies that I struggled with today, which are the driving range shots, the shots I hit a million times,” Spieth said. “I feel it was extremely special to stay bogey-free on a day like today at the Masters.”

There is certainly great value in betting Spieth as he won his first major at the 2015 Masters Tournament with a score of 270 (−18), earning him $1.8 million. He also tied the 72-hole record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and became the second youngest to win the Masters, behind Woods.
