Here are today's free sports picks for January 27, 2009 from Gambling911.com.

Austin Peay vs. Eastern Kentucky - Gambling911 likes Austin Peay in the first half at +1 ½.  A good number considering they are 12-1 thus far this season in the first half.

Gambling911.com also likes San Antonio.  Using the money line in all games versus poor defensive teams allowing 99+ points/game, the Spurs record this season is 16-2.  We like them as +2 underdogs at SBG Global

The Utah Jazz will try and break their three-game losing streak on Tuesday as they host the San Antonio Spurs.  Utah has been solid at home this season going 17-5 but injuries and inconsistent play have hurt them of late.  Utah already has more losses this season (5) at home than they did when they went 37-4 last season on their home floor. SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Spurs on the Road.

Utah has not played well defensively of late, giving up 109 points per game in their last three losses including 117 to Denver on Sunday. "There wasn't   much defensive effort," Utah point guard Deron Williams said.  Injuries are not helping Utah's cause either.  They are still without Carlos Boozer who is out for at least a couple more weeks.  Forward Andrei Kirilenko has missed the last three games and he is questionable for Tuesday.

The Spurs are coming off a 99-85 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

Tony Parker scored 19 points and Tim Duncan added 15, but the game was over in the fourth quarter. "I thought the effort was OK, defensively," Duncan said. "But we had a couple of lapses that turned right into points."

Utah and San Antonio have only played once this season and the Spurs won 119-94 at home as Tim Duncan had 18 points and seven rebounds.  The Jazz have won their last four home contests against the Spurs, holding San Antonio to an average of 80.8 points per game.

Here are the NBA betting stats for Tuesday's game. The Spurs are 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games as a road underdog. The Spurs are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Spurs are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Utah.

The Jazz are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 vs. the Southwest. The Jazz are 50-24-2 ATS in their last 76 games as a home favorite. The Jazz are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The home team is 17-4 ATS in the last 21 meetings between the two teams.

SBG Global Current Line: Jazz  -  2  ,  Total  TBA

The Under is 5-0 in the Spurs last 5 overall. The Under is 7-2-1 in the Spurs last 10 Tuesday games. The Over is 6-2-1 in the Spurs last 9 vs. the Northwest. The Under is 24-8-1 in the Spurs last 33 games as an underdog.

The Under is 41-19-1 in the Spurs last 61 road games.

The Over is 6-1 in Utah's last 7 home games. The Over is 8-2 in Utah's last 10 vs. the Southwest. The Over is 4-1 in Utah's last 5 overall. The Over is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings between the two teams.
