Edmonton vs. Detroit

Ron's Comment: Tough to go against Detroit on any given night and even harder when they've won their last 2 games by 1 goal. In fact, when the Red Wings are at home, won their last 2 games by 1-goal, they are 7-1 (SU) the L5Y and 14-4 (SU) since '96. When DETROIT team Played as Home team as a Favorite - Before a non division game - Total is 5.5 - Allowed 2 or less goals AGAINST in their last game - Coming off a 2 game Road stand; The Red Wings are 7-3 (SU) in this role since '96.

Prediction: Detroit 4 Edmonton 2

San Jose vs. Nashville

Ron's Comment: The Sharks are 11-4 (SU) in their last 14 games, but when you see their last 5 games has gone OVER the total, you have to realize they can't continue winning those shootout games. Sharks are off a 6-5 win last night and Nashville will actually play defense tonight! Great spot for the Preds; as they are 9-2 (SU) at home - During the month of November and playing their third game in 4 nights.

Prediction: Nashville 3 San Jose 2
