Florida vs. Tennessee U betting odds had the Florida Gators a big -7 ½ favorite heading into Tennessee for this Saturday evening showdown. Florida is ranked number 4 by both the Associated Press and USA Today polls.

The betting public is all over Florida at an 87 percent clip.

BetOnline.com was one of the only online sports books offering the Hurricanes at -7. Everyone else had this line at -7 ½ and that is essentially where this game opened. Gambling911.com anticipates this line to remain steady throughout the week with the occasional move towards -7.

Gambling911 has also determined this line to be pretty accurate, however, the inclination here would be to make Florida an -8 ½ favorite, suggesting the Gators will probably cover and there will be plenty of very happy gamblers out there. This is still a tight one to call.

It should be noted that Tennessee is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games.

Florida destroyed the Volunteers last year 59-30. Tennessee lost one already to UCLA, which was beaten badly itself last week.

In 16 of the last 18 meetings between the Southeastern Conference rivals, the team that has rushed for more yards has won the game.

The last three years-all victories for Florida and coach Urban Meyer-have been no exception.

The Gators held the Volunteers to 66 yards on the ground in 2005 (16-7 Gators), minus-11 yards the following year (21-20) and 37 yards last season (59-20).

"This will be the challenge of challenges so far," Meyer said. "If they run the ball all over us, we won't win the game. That's very clear."
