Though he was initially scheduled to fight, Fedor Emelianenko will not be fighting in Afflication 2's main event after reportedly suffering a hand injury during their debut event.

Arlovski vs. Josh Barnett is now being billed as the marquee fight at Affliction 2 "Day of Reckoning" on October 11.

At press time none of the online gambling establishments were yet to post odds on the next Affliction affair. The last one drew massive interest among bettors - specifically related to the Fedor Emelianenko bout though there was some action on a few of the other fights.

According to Sherdog.com:

Affliction reps approached Arlovski (13-5) late last week with the proposition to meet former UFC heavyweight champion Barnett (23-5), who also avenged a seven-year loss to Pedro Rizzo (Pictures) on July 19 with a dynamic second-round knockout. The promotion, which had looked to pair Arlovski and Emelianenko next after their stellar performances on July 19, said "The Last Emperor" had broken his hand and would not be able to participate.
