With 17 laps left in Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were cruising to a Red Bull 1-2 when the pair tangled as Vettel tried to overtake his teammate going into Turn 12.

"I thought I would just stay in the middle, as straight as I can, to make his line as tight as possible into the next corner ... he came across to the right and I couldn't react fast enough, because I wasn't at all expecting that at that point, and that's why it happened so fast and there was contact," Webber said after the race.

Webber was currently listed with 3.25 odds to win the Championship. Lewis Hamilton came in at 3.50 and Vettel was at 3.75.
