New York Jets

With the Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets betting lines there is a very good middling opportunity should the Jets win by 8 points.  This is a decent number for middling in that a two touchdown, two field goal combo could translate into such a win margin (14-6).

betED.com has Denver at +9 while BetUS.com had the Jets at -7 ½.  The idea behind a middling opportunity is to bet both these lines at the two different online sportsbooks and hope that the Jets win by 8 points.  You win both your bets.  Middling opportunities also allow for nominal risk since there is no true loss betting both teams.

This is an especially good scenario considering that the Jets have actually beaten Denver one time by 8 points in the last 10 games of this series.  The home team has won 7 of the last 10 in this series.

Rookie Peyton Hillis has scored touchdowns in back-to-back games, and rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown while getting the majority of the touches against the Raiders. But he will face a daunting task this week against the third-ranked rushing defense in the NFL.

ets quarterback Brett Favre has thrown five touchdowns and only one interception in his past three games, and he must be excited to face the Broncos in Week 13. The Broncos rank 25th in the NFL in pass defense and have only one interception in their past three games.

Diminutive running back Leon Washington has made some huge plays for the Jets during their current winning streak. Washington has scored four touchdowns in the Jets' past two games (two rushing, one receiving, and one on a kickoff return). The Broncos defense ranks 27th against the run.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
