Carrie Stroup here for Gambling911.com with your College Football Week 10 rankings (2008), which also takes a look at the odds for those teams ranked in the top 10 to win the 2009 BCS Championship. This past weekend witnessed few of the top ranked teams falling out of favor as they were able to get the job done against their respective opponent.

Updated BCS Championship odds were not immediately available at press time so we will be following up shortly.

1. Texas 8-0 - Over the past two weeks, Sportsbook.com had the odds set at +600 then slashed them to +250 for a $250 payout with every $100 bet if they were to win.

2. Alabama 8-0 - Alabama would pay $400 for every $100 bet heading into this past weekend if they won the 2009 BCS Championship. We do not anticipate these odds changing drastically over the course of this week.

3. Penn State 9-0 - Two weeks ago, a $1200 payout for every $100 bet was being promised if Penn State were to win the BCS Championship. Their odds were then slashed to +350 for a $350 payout on every $100 bet. Updated odds coming at Sportsbook.com shortly.

4. Oklahoma 7-1 - We might see odds slashed slightly from +800 (8/1) last week following yet another win.

5. USC 6-1 - Gambling911.com was forecasting odds of around 2/1 for this week.

6. Florida 6-1 - Last week, $1000 payout was in order if they win the 2009 BCS Championship. Prior to that they were at +600 odds. We think they will have odd between 6/1 and 10/1 this week, which is still substantial value.

7. Georgia 7-1 - Odds issued last week would pay out $2000 for every $100 bet. They were the same odds the week before. Gambling911.com expects these odds to be slashed this week however.

8. Texas Tech 8-0 - $2000 was the payout last week for every $100 bet should Texas Tech win the BCS Championship. We don't anticipate much of a change here.

9. Oklahoma State 7-1 - Following a loss, this team drops in the rankings and expect longer odds as well.

10. Utah 8-0 - We talked about this team last week entering the College Football Top 10 Rankings and here we are. They were part of the $5000 "field" option at Sportsbook.com

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
