The National Hockey League season is past its halfway point and headed for the home stretch, so now would be a good time to check out NHL Future Bets at betED.com.

The Vancouver Canucks, who have the NHL’s best record thus far at 35-10-9 SU, are the favorite to win the Stanley Cup, hockey’s Holy Grail, at +450 moneyline odds at betED.com.

And despite not having Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in their lineup, the Pittsburgh Penguins are right behind at +500. Pittsburgh is 34-16-4 SU and sits 4th in the Eastern Conference.

And right behind the Penguins are Atlantic division rival Philadelphia Flyers, who lead the Eastern Conference with a 35-13-5 SU record. The Flyers are at +550 to win the Stanley Cup.

The Detroit Red Wings are at +700 and the Washington Capitals are at +800 to win the NHL championship.

Last year’s winner, the Chicago Blackhawks, are way back at +2500, thanks to being forced to jettison more than half their Stanley Cup-winning roster last summer in order to fit under the NHL salary cap.

betED.com NHL Odds also have conference winner lines, with Vancouver the clear favorite to win the West at +200, followed by Detroit at +350, and the San Jose Sharks at +600.

In the East, the Flyers are the favorite at +270, followed by the Penguins at +330 and the Capitals at +400.
