Take this one to the bank - The Boise State Broncos still have a shot to win the 2009 BCS Championship.  The payout:  A whopping $20,000 for every $100 bet at Sportsbook.com

And why not?  Boise State is 9-0 heading into this weekend, one of only a handful of undefeated teams in College Football.  They are widely ranked around number 9 in most polls.

It was another win for Boise State, after the Broncos beat the Aggies of Utah State, 49-14, Saturday.

Kellen Moore threw for 362 yards and two scores, and two Boise State receivers also threw touchdown passes. The No. 9 Broncos rolled up 563 total yards and held the Aggies to 44 yards rushing and forced six turnovers.

BSU, one of the most penalized teams in the WAC, was flagged 12 times for 114 yards -- its the third straight game with at least 11 penalties. Despite the penalties, the Broncos still beat Utah State by 35 points, exactly matching the Vegas spread.

The good news in the Broncos' quest for a BCS bowl game. Scouts from the New Orleans based Sugar Bowl were in town  and they say Boise State still has a good shot at a big bowl.

"I think it's a trend that's going to continue, especially if we keep playing the way we are," said BSU Athletic Director Gene Bleymaier.

Their winning ways should continue this coming week as they play Idaho on the road as huge -34 ½ point favorites.  Idaho is just 2-8 this season.  Boise State has won the last 9 in this series dating back to 1999.  The Broncos have won by more than 35 points in 3 of their last 4 games against Idaho.
