Dos Santos was falling to a -150 favorite while Carwin promised a payout of $155 for every $100 bet with a win at BetDSI.com.
This one was taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia with the winner going on to meet heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
Jon Olav Einemo was fighting Dave Herman as a +150 underdog.
