Heading into the second round we find that the so-called “big four” men have all made it with Novak Djokovic the most impressive.

The Serb is slipping under the radar with the hype surrounding Federer, Nadal and Mark Young of William Hill noted:  “Murray and still looks really good value to cause an upset in the next two weeks. He has only lost one game all season but that seems to be getting swept under the carpet by everyone at the moment. He is still priced at 7/2 for an outright win.

Regarding Andy Murray, the William Hill analyst writes:  “Murray should be motivated enough but he does take a while to get going. Murray to lose the first set against any of his opponents should see some good returns by the end of the tournament. He faces Tobias Kamke of Germany on Wednesday on Court One and is a huge favourite so he value would be in Murray dropping the first set.”

Two top seeds miss out on Round Two of the Wimbledon 2011:

Sam Stosur and Jelena Jankovic.

Let’s look at the latest odds.

Roger Federer continued to hover around 2/1 odds

Andy Murray was at 11/2

Rafael Nadal was at 9/4

Novak Djokovic was at 7/2 odds, which we believe has some great value right now

Serena Williams was a 7/2 favorite among the women.

Maria Sharapova was at 4/1 odds

Petra Kvitova had 6/1 odds

Na Li was at 8/1 odds

Venus Williams came in at 8/1 as well.
