Bet on the Next Yankees Manager, Will Deshone Kizer Get Benched Again

Dave Mason of BetOnline has just released odds on who the next New York Yankees manager will be in addition to whether Deshone Kizer ends up getting benched again this weekend.

Additionally, there are odds on whether Martavis Bryant will be on the Steelers roster on Week 17.

BetOnline reacted quickly to the news that Joe Girardi will not be returning as manager for the Yankees next season.  He was in his tenth and final year of a contract with the team.

“I want to thank Joe for his 10 years of hard work and service to this organization,” said general manager Brian Cashman, whose contract is up at the end of the month but is expected to sign a new one soon. “Everything this organization does is done with careful and thorough consideration, and we’ve decided to pursue alternatives for the managerial position.”

The Yankees stunned many by advancing deep into the playoffs.

On the other side of the spectrum we have the Cleveland Browns.

Peter Smith of FanSided.com writes of the Browns rookie quarterback Deshone Kizer:

Hue Jackson’s frustrations with Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer seem to be really weighing on him, like a father disappointed in his son. Jackson wants so badly for Kizer to succeed, but watching him make the same mistakes over and over is leaving him with little recourse but to put him to punish the young man. In this case, benching him.

The Browns remain winless entering the halfway point of the season.  They are a +9.5 underdog playing against the Vikings in London.
