Odds On Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck

The online sportsbooks continued to offer a wide range of odds on the UFC 124 headliner fight Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck coming into Saturday.

St. Pierre didn’t have a whole lot of value priced as high as -560.  The best odds on St. Pierre (if you had to bet on him) could be found at BetUS.com -425.

Ian James, Betting Analyst for the BetUS.com website is predicting a win for Koscheck, which would pay out over $30 for every $10 bet and might just be the way to go.

“Have to give it to the welterweight challenger, he’s become a villain in this sport and that puts butts in seats, whether it’s at the event or on the couch with a PPV subscription. The thing is, the only way to be a successful bad guy is to win some fights, because if he loses to GSP for the second time on Saturday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal, there won’t be much left to talk about.”

Koscheck has been doing plenty of trash talking leading up to this fight.

“I believe that knockout (by Matt Serra) put the fear of God in him (St. Pierre),” Koscheck said.  “He’s afraid to get his chin tested and it hasn’t been tested since.

“I’m going to stop his takedowns, I’m going to keep this fight on our feet and I’m going to knock him out.”
