Bellator 118 Odds, Predictions (Video)

Bellator 118 odds and predictions appear in the below video with MMA odds found here.

The feature fight on Friday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey at Bellator 118 on Spike TV will be a battle for the Bantamweight interim title as Joe Warren takes on Rafael Silva.

This was supposed to be a battle between Eduardo Dantas and Joe Warren but Dantas pulled out due to injury. Also on the card is one of the semifinals of the welterweight tournament and it will be a Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament semifinal between Liam McGeary and Mike Mucitelli.

Joe Warren vs. Rafael Silva (Bantamweight Interim Title Fight)

Warren won the season 9 bantamweight tournament last November. He comes into this fight having won three straight. Silva has not lost since 2011. He won the 2013 Summer Series but he had an injury that kept him out of a title fight against Dantas at Bellator 102. "I'm healthy, and I'm ready to fight," Silva said, “I know Warren always likes to talk, but this fight isn't going to be about talking, it's going to be about who is the better fighter, and everyone is going to see who that is on May 2nd. I've always wanted to face Dantas, and now Joe Warren is in my way. I'll take care of that shortly."

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
