2017 Grand Slam Odds to Win Australian Open

Gambling911.com has your odds to win the 2017 Australian Open and all the Grand Slam futures for both the men and women.

For the women, Serena Williams was the nearly 2/1 favorite followed by Angelique Kerber at 3/1 and Simona Halep at 8/1.

Serena’s coach says that 2017 is “all about the Slams”.

"More than saying two titles was not enough, I would say that one Grand Slam title out of four is not enough. ... This [past] year was not satisfying in terms of efficiency and results in the majors, which are the real deal," Williams' coach of 4½ years, Patrick Mouratoglou, told ESPN.com this week.

The men’s competition looks to be extremely competitive with both Andy Murray and Novak Djokovick dead heat favorites at +140.

Murray is in Melbourne for the first time as the world’s number one.

Murray's 0-5 record in finals at Melbourne Park.  It doesn’t help that he’s fallen to Djokovic on a number of occasions.

"Here I've never beaten him and I've lost to him four or maybe five times. I can't remember, but I've lost to him a bunch here. A couple of them were pretty tough matches. A couple of them were very easy for him, so I need to try and turn that around here. There's a good chance that if I want to win the event I'd have to play against him," Murray said.

"Hopefully, I can get by him this year but he's definitely my biggest rival and someone that I've competed against for 18 years now."
