French Open Odds: Novak Djokovic is favored to win the French Open which begins on Sunday, May 24th. The world’s #1 ranked player is the odds-on favorite with Rafael Nadal the second choice at odds of 3-1.

Normally when it comes to winning on clay, and to winning the French Open, there is no one to consider but Nadal but he has not played well this season. The only other player listed at single-digit odds is Andy Murray who is listed at just over 9-1.
Here is a look at French Open odds and French Open picks.
French Open Odds:
Novak Djokovic -135
Rafael Nadal 3-1
Andy Murray 9.5-1
Roger Federer 22-1
Kei Nishikori 27-1
Tomas Berdych 47-1
Stan Wawrinka 50-1
David Ferrer 62-1
Grigor Dimitrov 112-1
Gael Monfils 112-1
Marin Cilic 300-1
Field 20-1
Novak Djokovic
This should be the year that Djokovic completes the career Grand Slam and wins the French Open. He is 35-2 this year and has already won five times including taking the Australian Open. He has won titles on clay this year in Rome and Monte Carlo and is the clear favorite to win at Roland Garros.
Nadal Vulnerable
Rafael Nadal has owned the French Open in his career winning it nine times including each of the past six years but he comes into the 2015 French Open looking very vulnerable. He is actually seeded 7th in this event which tells you just how far he has fallen in the rankings. Nadal hasn’t even won a clay court tournament this season which is shocking.
Andy Murray a Threat
The only player who might be able to beat Djokovic looks to be Murray. He is now married, has a new assistant coach and is playing better than he has in a long time. It should be noted, however, that no British man has won the French Open in 80 years.

Roger Federer
The world #2 has never been that great on clay in his career and has one the French Open just once in 2009. He has played well this season and won three titles but he doesn’t look to be a match for Djokovic. Federer has lost in the semi-finals, quarter-finals and in the fourth round the past three years at the French Open.
