2014 Men’s Australian Open Winner Betting Odds: Djokovic Favored, Federer Best B

When it comes to 2014 Men’s Australian Open winner betting odds, Novak Djokovic is favored to win at 3/4 odds but both Roger Federer and Andy Murray are the better value bets, seeing 12/1 odds at most books.

Djokovic has garnered approximately 33 percent of the public action.  Murray and Federer are seeing 16 percent and 11 percent, respectively.

Nearly 22 percent of the future bets are coming in on Rafael Nadal, a fixture in the online poker community as part of Team PokerStars.  The value on Nadal, however, is not great at 5/2 odds.

6 percent of the betting public is backing the long shot Stan Wawrinka with a huge payout potential of between 28/1 and 33/1 depending on the book.  We’ve seen a few listing him as high as 40/1.

Gambling911.com is reporting modest betting interest on this event overall.

“It’s actually exceeding our expectations in terms of readership,” noted Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.
