Gambling911.com is proud to present you with our 2008 Week 8 NFL predictions.

Oakland Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens -

Baltimore has won 6 of the last 7 in this series dating all the way back to 1987, long before the team left Cleveland. The last time these two teams played in September 2006, Baltimore won by 28-6. They were a -12 ½ favorite then.

One of the more ominous stats facing the Raiders: They are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win. They are 3-19 SU in their last 22 games on the road

Baltimore, meanwhile, is 17-7 Straight Up in its last 24 games at home.

The Ravens have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 25 straight games, the longest current streak in the NFL. This is one of the stingiest defenses in the league and as look as the offense can click, Baltimore should be able to take command of Oakland.

Gambling911.com picks Baltimore to cover the -7 spread.

Washington Redskins vs. Detroit Lions -

This one opened at Washington -6 ½ as the road favorite and has since climbed to -9 at some places. The problem: The home team has won 9 of the last 10 dating all the way back to 1992 in this series. In 2004, the Redskins won by 7 points in Detroit but that is still under the -7 ½ line.

Even trends seem to indicate Detroit can win - at least Against The Spread.

The Redskins are 1-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

That is not to say the trends are all good in the Lions favor. Detroit is 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win. Let's face it, most of their stats simply are not very good no matter how you look at things.

We hate having to do this but we have no other choice - Way too tempting in this situation.

Gambling911.com is going to have to jump on Detroit. They are +7 ½ underdogs at SBG Global

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars -

Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars betting odds opened at Jacksonville -7 and have stayed there throughout the week.

Neither of these two teams have lived up to expectations the first half of this season. Both were among the favorites to head deep into the playoffs. Jacksonville sits with a very uninspiring 3-3 record. Cleveland was 2-4.

In this series, the away team has gone 6-2 since 1999. In fact, the last 4 games have been won by the road team. Jacksonville is 6-2 Straight Up by 4-4 Against The Spread. Cleveland has not lost to the Jaguars by more than the current 7 point spread over the last four games this decade.

The Browns are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss. They are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. AFC and 14-4 ATS in their last 18 games on grass. The Browns are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win and 2-5 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

Cleveland seems to be getting some life back. Cleveland should be able to cover the +7.

So there you have it, our 2008 Week 8 NFL Predictions:

Baltimore -7

Detroit +7 ½
Cleveland +7

Lots of 7's as you can see. Maybe that's a good luck sign?
