The line on the Red Sox has moved up from -190 to -212.

The White Sox are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings.

PITCHING MATCHUP: White Sox RH Reynaldo Lopez (1-4, 3.42 ERA) vs. Red Sox RH Rick Porcello (8-2, 3.59)

Lopez followed up a terrible start with one of his best while holding Minnesota to one hit in seven scoreless innings in a no-decision on Tuesday.  He is making his first career appearance against Boston and is 0-3 with a 4.86 ERA in seven road starts this season.

Porcello is coming off back-to-back wins and got the better of defending champion Houston last Sunday by surrendering three runs - two earned - and five hits in 6 1/3 innings.
