Gambling911.com has your Thursday Night Football Redskins vs. Giants Daily Fantasy Sports picks along with the latest betting odds that had New York as a -4 home favorite. The total was coming in at 43.5.
What to Consider With the Giants: New York has one of the worst pass defending units in the league and are weak against the run. They have allowed the eighth-most points to the position since the start of last season. The Giants do not permit as many fantasy points to opposing wideouts however.
What to Consider With the Redskins: Though they had a big win last week, the Redskins have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks since the start of last year and Peyton Manning will be hungrier than ever for a win here after two back-to-back chokes in the final minutes. Washington appears to be tougher against the run this season.
Who to Play:
Eli Manning ($7.1K and likely dropping) is an obvious solid play this week though it remains to be seen if we have any better options.
While it is true that New York has a below-average pass defense unit, Kirk Cousins is not a viable fantasy option.
Washington’s running backs stand a better chance of making value in Week 3. On that end, Alfred Morris ($5K) does look appealing here at a decent price. In Week 2 against the Rams, Morris rushed 18 times for 59 yards in the Redskins' Week 2 win over the Rams, adding two catches for 13 yards.
Redskins RB Matt Jones ($4K) played just three fewer offensive snaps than Alfred Morris Week 2. Because of his reduced price, Jones is likely a better option than Morris if selecting among the Redskins running backs for Week 3.
