The Series Overall:  Six of the last seven games of this series played in Chicago have resulted in 8 runs or more. 

Any of the four starting pitchers should be considered for your daily fantasy rosters. 

May 5 – Pitching Matchups - Tigers RH Shane Greene (3-1, 4.60 ERA) vs. White Sox RH Jeff Samardzija (1-2, 4.78)

Greene had the lowest ERA in the AL (0.39) following his first three starts but has come unraveled over the last two.  Last time facing the White Sox, Greene gave up a single run. It helps that the White Sox are 0-5 in their last 5 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Samardzija gave up a pair of homers among 10 hits while allowing eight runs over five innings in an 8-2 loss at Baltimore his last start. 

He pitched especially well in his two previous starts including one against Detroit in which he permitted only one run. 

This one should defy the recent trends and go UNDER 8.5 (total courtesy of Sportsbook.ag overnight). This is our play for Tuesday - UNDER 8.5.

May 5 – DFS Picks – White Sox RF Avisail Garcia is riding a nine-game hitting streak and has multiple hits in five of the past seven.  He is 0-for-5 against Greene so use him only as a last option.

May 6 – Pitching Matchups – Alfredo Simon vs. Chris Sale

Simon won his first four starts before getting pounded in his last start in Kansas City.

Sale failed to capture a win in his last two starts.  He lasted only three innings Thursday, giving up nine hits, two walks and nine runs- eight earned against the Twins.  He only gave up 2 runs and 4 hits against the Tigers on April 23 in a 12-3 victory. 

On the surface, it appears as if this could be another game in the series that go against that recent OVER trend.

May6 – DFS Picks – Victor Martinez hasn’t played particularly well of late but he is 15-for-32 against Sale so needs some consideration for your DFS roster this day.
