Thursday Night Football – Bucs vs. Falcons betting odds had Atlanta as a pretty firm -6 favorite. Despite there being between 75% and 80% of the action on this number, bookmakers do not seem inclined to move this line upwards to push more action Tampa’s way.
Sure, a few books have moved up a half point, but Bookmaker.eu, known for its sharp action, has maintained a line of -6 over the past 12 hours.
With this in mind, Gambling911.com sees Tampa Bay able to cover the +6 spread Thursday night. It’s doubtful they will win outright as Atlanta has dominated at home (if we are to not count last season’s debacle).
In recent years, these two teams have split wins and losses 3-3.
Sports bettors will be less inclined to support Tampa Bay knowing that they are just 2-7 Against The Spread on the road whereas Atlanta is 4-0 ATS in their last four games vs. NFC South foes.
The OVER is 6-0 in Atlanta’s last home games. You can currently get the number at 45.5, though books were moving to 46 heading into Noon Eastern Standard Time.
