TCU will have a big test this week against Oklahoma, and it’s not going to be an easy one. They will have to be the perfect team to get the better of Oklahoma this time around.

First and foremost, the Sooners offense is not an easy one to dissect. They are a spread team, and they can attack in a very balanced manner, but they could also throw tricks out to make things a bit difficult. They will rush hard and then throw passes down the field to stress the defense. They also have two quarterbacks that can punish teams with different styles, both can be quite effective in their own right. TCU is not going to have an easy day, and their defense has to fight third to get to the quarterback, because that will be their only hope of controlling the game.
TCU has a good offensive line, and enough fire power to make the Sooners fall back a little. The OU line has some issues, and they are not perfect, but they offer up a decent amount of power to stop a TCU early run game. That doesn’t mean that they will not run it over time, but it will be interesting to see how they can do against the Sooners. OU has been tested a bit, but will have to improve to get one over on the Frogs this week.
The Match Up:
TCU has struggled this season, and may still be a good contender against Oklahoma. OU was able to knock down a good Notre Dame team, and will have to be on their “A” game to trump them. The Sooners will need to be able to control the football, the time clock. Coach Bob Stoops told the media that they are ready for TCU and will definitely be confident in their play. TCU has embarrassed Oklahoma in the past, and Stoops hasn’t forgotten that, which will prove to be an excellent thing to drive them to win against the Frogs. OU will get this one, they are too powerful, and it will get ugly in the latter quarters as they are up – 10 ½.
