BetDSI.com has released their Stanford Cardinal 2014 predictions with a video preview appearing below.  Betting on Stanford was available here

The 2014 Stanford Cardinal National Championship Odds: 40-1.  Their OVER/UNDER regular season win total was set at OVER 8.5 priced at -125.

The Stanford Cardinal offense will be led by quarterback Kevin Hogan who had a solid 2013 with 20 TDs and 10 interceptions.  Every bit of the offensive should be solid this season with the exception of the running back with question marks remaining as to who will play in this position.  The receiving corps should be among the best in the NCAA.

The defense will feature a new defensive coordinator in Lance Anderson. The team will need to replace a number of starters but talented players like defensive end Henry Anderson and tackle David Parry do return. Linebacker A.J. Tarpley also returns and he should be joined by Kevin Anderson and James Vaughters. The secondary is led by free safety Jordan Richards who could be one of the best in the country. The corners should be Alex Carter and Wayne Lyons.  There is little to suggest this defensive unit will falter in 2014.

The game of the year in the Pac-12 should be the one with the Oregon Ducks on November 1st but because the game is in Eugene, the Stanford Cardinal will likely fall short in their attempt to win the Pac-12 this season.  Oregon, incidentally is the -130 favorite to win the Pac-12, some great value here (sorry Stanford fans).
