There are injury concerns for San Francisco as Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis has been ruled out of this game while cornerback Jimmie Ward remained questionable.  Offensive guard Mike Iupati has also been ruled out.

Here is a stunning stat: Manning has thrown for 3,032 yards and 27 TDs in his last nine games against NFC opponents.  But not so fast, Colin Kaepernick, who threw for 343 yards and three scoring passes last week, is 6-1 versus the AFC for the 49ers, who are 13-1 in October under coach Jim Harbaugh.
