Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Odds

Week 3 of the NFL is going to prove to be an exciting one yet again for Seattle fans. They will face one of the worst teams in the NFL and they will definitely be on top. The Seahawks are coming off a beating on the 49ers, and they are going to prove yet again why they are one of the best teams in the league.

Free Prediction Given by SportsCashSystem.com lead handicapper, Mike Taylor

Current line: Seattle – 19/ Over & Under at 40½

Time:  Sunday, September 22, 4:25 pm (EST) FOX,CBS, DirectTV, NFL Red Zone

The Jacksonville team will definitely come out swinging, as they are a pro team afterall, but they are going to get silenced, in a lopsided game that has many analysts laughing at the idea of a Jaguars upset. Some may like that, the underdog may in fact have their day, if they catch Seattle of guard. It has happened in the past, favored teams losing a step, but think about this one for a moment. Pete Carroll has definitely done something grand in his tenure in Seattle. After several years of USC NCAA dominance, he’s bringing that greatness to the fans of the Pacific Northwest. Not only that, it’s another home game, which means that the noise level is going to be insane yet again.

Maurice Jones-Drew may come back for this one, and Chad Henne is going to have another start under his belt, but it may come with a beat down. Jones-Drew is a wildcard here, let’s not assume that he won’t be able to get some yardage against Seattle. He was there in 2009 when Jacksonville trounced Seattle, so it’s not 100% impossible to see a repeat, just highly unlikely.

The Match Up:

This one is almost not fair. The Seattle team has everything going for them here. With home field advantage, a beat down of their rivals the San Francisco 49ers, and a relatively healthy squad, Jacksonville is going straight into the danger zone. There’s not a whole lot of pretty that is going to happen here, it will be a drag out brawl and the broad street bully is going to be none other than Seattle. It’s with that in mind that we’re going to jump on board with the heavy favorite, because it absolutely make sense. Seattle will win again at home, and they are – 19, so watch this one. It’s a sure thing, with very few analysts making a case for the Jaguars. Could they come out on top? Yeah, anything can happen, but it’s just so hard to imagine this one going their way.

The Edge:

Our pick is Seattle – 19.

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: Seattle – 19
